Queens Raiper Championship

While some queens are busy painting the roses red and fussing with their fences in the garden, our Glorious Sylvan Majesty is busy celebrating the beauty of her fencers at her Queen’s Champion Rapier Tournament in the Shire of Misty Highlands. You are cordially invited to attend this fantastic display of deadly grace on May 29th . This day truly celebrates the art of the rapier in Aethelmearc and from those that take up the challenge, one will stand in the end to be at the side of the Queen and be named Queens Rapier Champion.

Site fee is $15.00 for adults $10.00 for children 5and up and kids 4 and under are guests of the Crown. Site fee includes a sideboard style feast. This site is discreetly damp (period containers only). Site opens Saturday may 29th at 10am and closes at 9 pm. There are many hotels close to site if you are looking for overnight accommodations. Please send reservations to Autocrat (Shelly Dusic 28b Kingwood St Morgantown, WV 26501) Do not include the $3.00 Non-member surcharge with reservations. All checks should be payable to “SCA Inc., Shire of Misty Highlands.)

Make your best way to I -79 Morgantown, Wv
Take exit 152 for us-19 toward Westover/ Morgantown
Turn Right at Fmt road/ US 19 south
Continue through 2 lights, there is a small road just after the McDonalds on the Right toward HIT Exercise center. Turn Right there, follow road to Westover Park/ Greer Pavillion.

The Menu for Queen's Rapier is as follows:

Bread and Butter (both plain and honey)
There will also be dipping oils available (olive oil and garlic olive oil) and home made strawberry preserves.
Seasonal Fruit

Onion Soup (vegetarian)
Beef with honey mustard and mushroom gravy dipping sauces
Roasted Chicken
Green Salad
Boiled Eggs
Pickled Beets
Frumenty (wheat brry pudding)

Strawberry Pudding
Custard Tarts
Cookies

The Beverages will be water and Senkanjabin.
