Althyng Information
Our weekly Arts & Sciences meetings are open to both members and non members.  Please either participate in the projects scheduled or bring something to work on.  A schedule of activities has been posted on our web site at www.mistyhighlands.org.  For more information about Althyng meetings please contact Alexandra.  Alexandra  can be reached at artssciences@mistyhighlands.org.

Fire Dancing

Dancing has always been a part of  SCA life and dancing with fire adds that bit of danger that we all crave.  The art of Poi dancing that we have been practicing along side of fencing/fighter practice is very self taught with the help of the information highway. We are also studying Fire Baton and Candle Dance.  All are welcome to come and play with us, loaner poi will be available soon, bring your batons if you wish, and we are happy to share.  Contact Maggie McKlay or Renee Hearl for details.

ARTS OF WAR -  September 11, 2004

Still in the planning phases, but we are all excited and looking forward to a great outcome.  We know the event will be held at the boy scout camp and will include fencing, fighting, Poi, fundraising, Arts & Sciences Displays and fun. The more the merrier so please mark it on your calendar.
